Medical Scholarship

Granted to meritious medical students from underprivileged communities,who secured admission to medical colleges affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences

          

Trust Award

Awarded to the student who secures first rank in the Post Graduation Degree exam in Ophthalmology, conducted by the Kerala University of Health Sciences.

          

Financial Aid

Extend financial aid to medical students from underprivileged backgrounds, to support their curriculum

          

Awareness Campaigns

Conduct study meetings, seminars, conferences and similar activities to create awareness and knowledge about health-related matters to people at large

          

Medical Camps

Organise free medical camps such as Eye Screening Test, Early Cancer Detection Test, General Medical Test for Women and Children etc. for people in rural and urban parts of India.


          

Support for the Needy

Provide financial aid and facilitate medicine and support systems to chronically or terminally ill patients from economically backward and marginalized sections

          

Medical Relief Centers

Establish, equip, run, and maintain hospitals, nursing homes, health centres, scanning centres, diagnostic centres, laboratories, and medicine supply centres, other than for profit.


          

Facilities for the Old and Differently-abled Person

Establish, run, and maintain old age homes, schools for children who are physically and mentally challenged and daycare centres for the aged, who are physically challenged, mentally challenged, impacted by dementia or affected by Alzheimer's.


          

Propaganda

Propagate and disseminate advice and discussions on health topics through print and electronic media that will provide information on health to the public

          

Facilities for Learning and Development

Establish, equip, run and maintain other than for profit, study centers, libraries and reading rooms, information centres, knowledge dissemination centers, and technology centers for those who are interested in medical and palliative care work, unaffected by caste, creed, community, or sex

          

Promotion of Mental and Physical Health

Conduct, develop, establish, maintain and run sports and games centres to promote all types of sports and games that will help develop the mental and physical health of people in India

          

Support to Other Charitable Institutions

Make monthly, periodical or lump sum contributions towards causes similar to Ardra Darshanam, to other registered charitable institutions and trusts that are registered u/s 12A of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

          

Pandemic and Disaster Relief Measures

Start, maintain and assist any relief measures, medical, and health support to citizens in areas where there is a pandemic outbreak or is affected by natural calamities such as famine, fire, flood, drought, and earthquake.

          

Support to Government Initiatives

Give educational grants and assistance to Government/Quasi Government and Universities for advancement in learning and establishment of research work in connection with medicine and health, providing funds for instituting and/or scholarships in any branch of medicines, family planning, science, and technology related to health and medicine.


          

Rural Development Programs

Undertake any program for rural development including programs that promote medical and health welfare or uplift of the public in rural, tribal, and backward areas, and the funds of the association/institution raised for this purpose would be utilized for the above object.

          

Effective Donation Management

Accept, raise, receive and hold funds, gifts, donations, contributions, whether money or property (movable or immovable), grants, presents and other offerings, whether by gift, statement, legacy or otherwise, from individuals, institutions, establishments, and governments, for the functioning of the Trust and to achieve its aims and objectives.


          

Promotion of Health Activities

Undertake activities for the upliftment of all Indians by supporting them to grow in a healthy way, so that everyone enjoys good health and well-being across the nation.
